Baby J

I got to meet Baby J yesterday.  His parents were gracious enough to let me use him for practice!  I think I improved some with newborns, and I learned some and I have some ideas to do better next time.  Regardless, J is such a beautiful baby boy, I don't think it was possible to get it wrong!

100 Days into My 365 Project

I am 100 days into my personal 365 project.  The object is to take a photo every day for a year.  Anyone can do a 365 project--you can use your fancy DSLR, your point and shoot or your phone.  I have been using my project to try to learn and grow as a photographer, so I always use the fancy DSLR :).

A start to blogging...

I am trying to move some of my content away from Facebook to the Paradise Lane Photography website, this blog and Pinterest, among other things.  I guess that means I will start blogging sessions here.  Watch this space!
